Coco Inferno (Paperback)

Almost fifteen years to the day since its predecessor was published, Part II is sure to carry the torch with no plans on letting it burn out. And if you thought Rock & Fire was “fire,” Part II should be considered an explosion. Over the years, Lacy’s writing style has evolved, and Rock & Fire Part II epitomizes this. The poetry within this book is based on sexy scenarios in which chocolate and sweets are often referenced as simile and metaphor.  And as artistically creative as the writing is, Marc is still able to convey stories that many people can relate to. It is still considered “message” poetry that allows the reader to either envision or just reminisce. The source of the ideas of poems comes from a variety things. Personal experience, observations concerning the experiences of others, as well as plain old imagination being factored in make this book a very interesting read.

In life, everyone knows that quality over quantity is always the way to go. However, Lacy as a writer and poet believes in being creative and prolific. “If God has given it to you, why hide it?” Plus, a lot of time has elapsed since Marc has published poetry…so there is technically some “making up to do.” He is also writing in multiple genres now which can be very time-consuming when working on various projects. That said, the reader is sure to get something out of the plethora of colorful and
flavorful writings that Lacy has released in Rock & Fire Part II. The scenarios that could take place when it’s concerning love, passion, and relationships are endless. Where no two experiences are exactly alike, there is still nothing new under the sun. Now, adding in the pizzazz element created by the “sweet treats,” make reading this book an adventurous experience.

Now, imagine you and your lover having a nice quiet meal at the house and afterward you indulge in chocolate wine, assorted chocolates, and chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert. Oh, but it doesn’t end there. During the steam bath with chocolate syrup, you’re sipping on cold cappuccinos while enjoying cocoa-flavored licorice. The air is dominated by jamocha incense and flanking the tub are silky chocolate robes sitting atop the light brown 100 percent cotton towels. And naturally, after you dry off, you must apply cocoa butter. It’s late in the evening, and it’s time for you and your mate to partake of the “real” dessert on the caramel-colored satin bed dressing. The next morning coffee is brewing and you cannot wait to indulge in a hot fresh cup. Oh, and least I forget, the pancakes have chocolate chips in them.

Okay, now go read the book and try not to get cavities.
